Lovely job - will update the pledge list.furocious_fleabag wrote:I'll take on Deeprootz
Cracking concept - love the look. Personally, I say stick with red - it doesn't clash with the colours and reinforces the idea much more than other colours. If you're set against red, the sour cream and chive light green would be my 2nd colour choice - nearly as iconic and ties in with the basingLoki wrote:Here is a WIP for #8 - Fingle Prister. I have a question. The tube on his left fist is going to be painted up as a certain well know brand of curved potato snack. I was going to do it red, which I feel is the iconic colour, as shown in the image below.

I wanted to go with the red but this is my first legacy team model so didn't know what the 'form' for this sort of thing was

I think the general view with legacy teams is that there is no form...whatever you want to do, however you want to paint/convert it is the correct wayLoki wrote:I wanted to go with the red but this is my first legacy team model so didn't know what the 'form' for this sort of thing was

Re: TFF Legacy Team 2013 Sign Up & Progress Thread - Halflin
I'm trying to get the sculpting on Sam d'Huys completely done by sunday evening.
Made big and good if I dare to say progress on the head. Need to clean up a bit on the neck-armour area, need to finish his helmet and then give him some hair.
Very pleased with him even if he turned out to big boy (he's as tall as the average halfling even seated )
Picture only when I'm totally done.
EDIT: Productive night yesterday (I was having a restless night ).
Sam d'Huys is totally done! Pictures up as of this evening

Here is one.
Regular halfling on the left for scale purpose, you see he's a bit bigger that the normal halflin... a 3/4thling?
Noticed he's missing ears

Love him! Great looking conversion, and the fact he's sat down means the height difference won't be noticable. After all, the difference between 2nd and 3rd halflings is pretty big, but they're all still stunties

Thx for the kind words. I do like how's turning out.axiom wrote:Love him! Great looking conversion, and the fact he's sat down means the height difference won't be noticable. After all, the difference between 2nd and 3rd halflings is pretty big, but they're all still stunties
Will add his ears and general cleaning up and final touches this week. Then, if it has stopped freezing here I'd like to get him undercoated next weekend...
Has anyone else made some progress?

I'm going to be painting my contribution tonight, and I get to kill 2 birds as the colour scheme is the same as a team I'm painting so I'll churn out an extra couple of minis

I received Jembo17's cheerleader in the post last week, but unfortunately the base broke in transit so I need to repair. I'll post pics once that's done (probably next week). She's a cute looking girl though
