Ah hah!
That makes sense. Work shall be done to rectify this nasal lack.

I'll also try changing the fur if that isn't enough.

Personally I really dislike skaven with black noses - it can make them look dog-like rather than rat-like. I would be tempted to add more shading beneath the nose tip (philtrum I believe it's called).

I also agree with Norse on the fur. White gets lost alongside the white elements to the armour.

These are only minor niggle though - the armour and basing (yet again) is spot on!

@nazgob - Really nice work overall

@norse - How about you start your own thread so we can all appreciate your stuff  I've always liked the cleanliness of your colours.

Hijack! Hijack! Someone call the feds.

@Norse Aside from your illegal procedure, I like the Glart - his claw is excellent

Now we return to our regularly scheduled programming.

Dieter Hammerslash is ready for viewing.

Some close ups on the blog, as usual.

Now though, I would like to ask for some help. I've been working on Withergrasp Doubledrool for ages, but have never been quite happy with his tentacles. I think It's too much blue, but I haven't decided what to use in it's place. Any suggestions?

Before you respond, please remember that the straps will be white, the shoulder and groin pads most likely pink and the glove/knee pad green. That's a lot of bright colours on one model, and it will need to harmonise.

How about blending slightly lighter towards the tip, and slightly more purple towards the stem.

Probably darken them a bit towards the stem... Towards the tip, keep as is, unless the actual tentacle gets lighter than the suckers.

That would look even better, just blend the pink into the blue at the base of the suckers.

Ok, so darker to lighter blue from base to tip, with pink suckers?

Were you thinking the purple pink or the pastel? I had considered the pastel, but was concerned with it clashing with the armour.

He's all finished. More photos, including a close up of the green eye, on my blog.

He only has one green eye.

What do you think to the tentacle?
