I should also add - I was proposing that the winner got a free model.

Three elements - sculpt cost, casting cost and postal cost

There's also another option I didn't think of, which is "bugger off axiom and keep the little chef, we don't want him" ;)

TFF Legacy Team 2013 Sign Up & Progress Thread - Halflings!

What, again? :P

This gets my vote. I've been on TFF for years, if the legacy teams can somehow put something back in to help Ian with paying for hosting then all the better.

Certainly doesn't feel that way, my little crap effort pales in comparison to that sculpt. Just cast away and get someone to paint one of those instead.

I strongly disagree - sorry you feel that way & apologies for not considering it.

I think your chap is a great idea & I really want to see it as part of the finished set

I'll add my voice to that. I'm really excited about seeing progress on your chef, Abi - please don't drop it, can't wait to see it finished and settled in with the rest of the gang!

Ehhh, it's oversized and terri-bad by comparison. Why would you want McDonald's value meal when steak is on offer?
Frankly I would be embarrassed to shame the team with my rubbish. :/

I have to agree with the guys above Abi, I think your Chef was coming on well from the pictures and when we chatted the ideas of where he was going sounded really good.

I don't think there is any need to be worried about it being bad or shaming the team!

Keep up the good work !) :D

I'm going to echo others. I really like your master chef, and while I also like the new one, that one will have 100 (or so) copies out there, where as yours is one of a kind. That is my favorite part about these teams. They are unique and impossible to replicate. Please, finish the chef!

my 2cents:
- inkpwn should finish his chef
- I would buy one (if not surprisingly expensive)
- any proceeds should go to tff

Actually coming to thing of it TFF deserves some love (and cash if there is any at the end of the ride... money that will probably come from the TFF members anyway so
+1

Also Abi; get on sculpting! I want to see your bathing chef...
As for size, don't worry, my little bugger is also not that small ;)

Mine's done! We need all the chefs we can get to keep this puppy rolling!

Other than that, I think Ink needs to finish his. I think he was coming along nicely.

I also think it's a cool thing with the chef sculpt. There has been talk from time to time about a TFF-mini. I think it's appropiate that he reflects the years Legacy team if we can get it done.
I guess it's already expensive enough to get a mini sculpted and cast, so think he should be available to all of TFF. Maybe he also needs to be sold elsewhere too, just to break even.

Wow, that's one halfling over-eater! :-)

Judge Dredd fattie as the starting point right? Nice work!

Yes, they are good starting points for big people. I greenstuffed the front of the jersey to cover up the buttoned jacket. Also replaced right hand and feet with 3rd ed halfling feet.

He's pretty big, but after I lost my first converted halfling, I had to pick one that couldn't get lost.

I sent him off in the mail today, together with your stuff. :-)
