Uscarl Miniatures

Post by anothericonoclast »

Has anyone any experience of buying direct from Uscarl Miniatures?

http://uscarlminis.free.fr/pag_accueil_uk.htm

I put their gobbo team on my Christmas list and my wife sent them money two weeks ago but not heard back from them either from paying or from a subsequent enquiry. It would be reassuring to hear if anyone has had a positive experience...

Never dealt with them directly, but Comixininos carries their minis, and I can vouch for them in no uncertain terms!

Yes, I've bought a few Meiko and Willy miniatures from Comixininos with no issues at all! I'd seen the Uscarl minis on there (at a slightly higher price...) and thought that dealing direct would be fine. I suspect it's a one man show and he's on holiday or something, but it would be nice to get some reassurance...

Good to hear Horkos, it sounds like you're a satisfied customer. My wife has emailed but not heard back yet.

Yes i must admit i am :D
Normally they respond quickly so i think the best is to resend them an email.
Hope that you receive your gobbos soon, it's a very nice team imo.

I've ordered from them, turned up a week later, but the Christmas post can cause substantial delays. E-Mails can get lost as well.

...and I've mentioned the positive feedback for my wife who said "oh, yes, all sorted now" :) Guess I can look forward to Xmas. If I play gobbos my 7 year old will have some of the advantage he needs!

I ordered a few goblins from Uscarl directly. Email contact was excellent and answered quickly, so I thgink that, as mentioned before, he might enjoy the holidays for a bit.

I would not worry about it. I would order from him again without a seconds doubt.

The gob;ins are excellent. I am sure you will enjoy them as soon as they arrive :D

I've ordered from them with no issues. But as has been said, post at this time of year can be a real swine.

edit: Yes there seems to be some coded message here:
"oh, yes, all sorted now"
Hopefully that means they've arrived and you're to stop asking questions about your presents ;)

Looking at the Uscarl website I might have to order from them again.
How many Skaven teams does one need? Well, 4. One for each of the major clans of course, and their new team looks like it will be perfect for a Clan moulder Team

You could mix a few lizardmen in there, then you would have Moulder and Scally

I'll get my hat

If you cannot stall out for an 8 turn drive to score with dwarves then you need to go and play canasta with your dad..if you can find him.
