I had the hole at the beginning, but then I saw severalChaos Dwarves and they all had it covered, so I thought it would be better for casting.

Would it be possible to have the outline of the muzzle, for those of us that have difficultly painting in a neat way?

Wouldn't that depend in any split? If it has to be split (the shoulder spikes, the helmet horns, the chest to weapon barrel zone...) it could be so the weapon has a deeper hole as bonus. Or as Darkson said, at least a mark of the rim as painting guide, no matter what split. Or in other words, because someone else does something is not a good reason.

Looking for CD, I can see with and without hole. The ones without are plastic based (whatever they used for that) or crappy old metal casting, mostly, while new casts and proper conversions have a non flat end.

For my own company ( Tercio Creativo ), or commissions that need casting I talk to my own caster, and he tells me if something can be casted, or not, but Willy has his owns. I assume it's a problem, but I have asked him. Maybe it can be made. In resin it could be done, but metal moulds don't work in same way... ( usually they have more problems getting good copies of some pieces than can be casted in resin, and in view of that doubt I use to avoid problems ).
