I think the shields is a hallmark of the Spartans, and they have to take them somewhere. To bring back not being used. As I say, you can not make the miniatures to the pleasure worldwide

To me it's okey. I will buy an extra blitzer to attempt to remove it myself and greenstuff the cape. If it works and looks good, i'll do it with all of them. It should be easy as they are made of resin!

and not to "dog pile" on, but a SKIRT on a BB/FF player?

but then again, i don't mind capes. so maybe there are people out there who will be ok with a long skirt. point is, i think it does'nt bring any "feel" to the figure.
