Discuss Fantasy football-style board games - GW's Blood Bowl, Impact!'s Elfball, Privateer Press' Grind, Heresy's Deathball, etc. THIS IS NOT AN NFL FANTASY FOOTBALL SITE!
If your wondering how this works or what it is please refere to the F.A.Q.s below or don't hesitate to ask in this thread or via PM.
Ok I will get things rolling. First we need to decide which team we want, so TFF I ask you, do you want a to choose a team that has been done before? Only this time we can do things differently (please discuss below). Or would you like a brand new team from the second list?
We will have another poll after this in fourteen days time, get voting and tell your mates...

It's essentially a lottery, each participant paints one figure (which are signed up for once Race and Team Colours are chosen) each person applies for a positional/Lineman/Star Player/Side Line. You provide an appropriate mini.
An end date is given normally October/November and you paint up your figure and send to organiser before then. After the closing date one name is chosen from those who supplied a model and the winner gets the team.

There's not really any hard and fast rules, if it fits then it fits. There generally tends to be a mix of standard minis, conversions and occasionally scratch built including both GW and non-GW figures.

Yes Regash it's good to give away something like this please join in, I've always enjoyed painting something for someone else in the past.
How do people feel about a minimum post count for participating? We used to do this on Asrai.org for the Christmas Secrete Santa.
I'm also thinking it might be a good idea to have a cut off date a month before the give away so we have time to get replacements in the event someone has RL issues and can't complete in time, thoughts?

I'm a British Freebooter, will play for any team including Undead (I have my own Apothecary). Good rates.
Well that's answered 'what the hell is a Legacy Team?' every time I check the forum....
What a great idea, I think setting a minimum number of posts make sense too. I'll have to spend my lunch breaks posting so that I can make the 2017 cut
Regash wrote:What exactly do you mean by "post count"?
Something like "You can't participate because you haven't been on the forum for long enough"?
Strange idea...
I assume the thinking is you can have more trust in someone who has been active on the forum for a time, that way reducing the likelihood of no-shows later in the year.
