Don't worry Dr. Von Richten, the second scenario won't happen.
What will likely happen is a few weeks after the Kickstarter has ended a pledge manager will come out. Think of it like an online store. On the pledge manager you will be able to pick what pledge level you want and/or what individual minis you want.
For example an “Full Team” pledge would let you pick 14 “Light Troop” minis (any minis that cost 7 Euro or less) and 2 “Heavy Troop” minis (any minis that cost 9 Euro or less). So you could get 4 Skeletons, 2 Zombies, 2 Wights, 2 Werewolves, 2 Ghouls, Alfiero and Niccolo. You could then pick Flesh Golem 1 and The Jester.
That would leave you with 46 Euro to spend on individual minis, such as the Vitruvian Golem (10 Euro) or Copernico (12 Euro).
Greebo have also said that you will be able to add to your pledge via the pledge manager. So if you realise you were 5 Euro short to get all the minis you want, you will be able to add 5 Euro to your pledge after the Kickstarter has closed.
