*grins*... I have to agree there. While it has the potential to be a disaster for the opponent, it didn't manage to damage/ injure as much Skaven players as I thought it would. Still, I had a great laugh when facing those dwarves. :D

to almost win with DE is amazing.. the new roster is better than LRB 4, but I was very surprised to see DEs playing their last match on Table 1.. kudos for that..

8 times MO 7

4 times AV 7

sounds like Speed. :D

-What skills have you given?

-and did you actually use the dump off skill of the Runner?

Feel free to answer. I´m just curious because I think the new Delf Roster has some potential. :P

Leader on runner
Block on witch
Wrestle on witch
Leap on blitzer
Tackle on blitzer (against 4 ghoul)

I have no used dump off but my runner was not blocked. I have played Goblin, Chaos dwarf (LX), Orc (Longshot), Orc (Blitzwing), Undead (Kheldar).
I like dump off, it's interesting for a flexible game.

To sum up the week end a bit it was really excellent.

We took off from Paris with Vince and Longshot around 5:40 pm and after traffick jam everywhere we arrived around 11:20 pm. All the usual suspects are at the bar. And after a quick bike ride in Ultrecht, I'm set for the week end.

The place is perfect and I start with Benji's Amazons. My Chaos Dwarves are turned on : 6 casualties. Next game is against Vince (Dar Elves) I lost but make 3 casualties. Game 3 against Cohen (Orcs). I learn that it's only a Td if you end your action in the end zone (thanx for the tip :D ). I win and wash an old grudge with blood : 3 casualties. Before game 4 I cross my fingers to meet Norse and wash another grudge in Blood. Game 4 is actually against Norse(Chaos Dwarves). THANK YOU NUFFLE ! :D I win and wash a recent grudge with blood : 3 casualties.
Last Game is against Sputnik and his Khemris. I lost. Ending here a serie of 3 years undefeated against Kris. The game was good and it's only fair

I end up 9th and most casualties for a first time with Chaos Dwarves.

The funny thing of the tournament. I had called my Mino Zidane (In case some people didn't notice  ) He played perfectly all his game except his last one. He played like crap and got injured. He really stood up to his name :smoking:

Thanks to Dave, Redfang and Draco for this very pleasant week end. Grotemuis was also perfect. Cooking breakfast and everything. Longshot drove us all the way. Vince tried to mate with Grotemuis' cat. I even started to learn how to speak Dutch. :smoking:

Great tourny again...

wow... after the two wins i played the first time at higher tables...my game number 3 at table 2. :o .

Game 1 against Draco´s Gobbos. We got a lot of fun with his secret weapons. Especial me :) ... catching flying bombs and throwing them back ! But next time i will get your chain and ball gobbo for sure... no more cheating, Mark !! ... a nice 3:0 victory and the most fun game of this tourny !

Game 2 against some Necromancers. Sorry, i cant remember the coach´s name ... another 3:1 Victory.

Game 3 against Hal´s Norse... did i tell already, i dont like this frenzy skill ?! I made a tactical mistake to stall a turn and lost the ball. Getting a bit tired didnt help a bit ! Made two more great mistakes and lost 0:2. It would have been nice to get a tie... i got the chance !

Game 4 Its a pity i arrived not in time for this game (... and not MY fault !!! ) So TuernRedvenom and i have to quite the game turn 4 second half with a 2:3 against me. There was quite a good chance getting a tie at last after 4 or 5 of his skaven were out of the game at this time !

Game 5 was a terrible one against Benji´s Amazones !! I got 5 Guarder at the end, but those dodge or dodge/block werent going down ! And this new skill wrestling is just great... no use of my block skill ! My players went out one after one and i couldnt get a girl out !! The amazone stalled first half for more than 4 turns and i couldnt do anything against it. Just getting up and down again... grrrr... quite frustrating ! Still a good teaching lesson for the new skill for me ! Also "defend" is a interesting skill as i learned.

I think, playing hummies is more my style than playing my old orcs.

My new painted hummies made it into the best painted choice. Well, more by accident i guess... ... pity, i didnt paint a new ogre. Next team have to be a full conversion again !!
Dave´s Khemris won this competition. Norse´s CDs are great painted again. But I liked this other Dwarf team more with all those little squares on. Sorry, but i forgot the name of the painter.

I will bring the picts online soon at my website. I took about 230 picts and with my new other camera about 20 minutes of movies. I will try to cut a small movie together.

Well, thanks for staying at " Draco´s Inn " again. :D Great service... including wake up calls at 6 am in the morning performed by the cats jumping on my bed ! Vielen Dank , Mark !!!

Nice to see you all again, guys !

Jort "Furocious Fleabag" painted the tartan dwarves.. truth be told they were probably the best painted team there, but most Dutch coaches have seen them at least 5 or 6 times by now, which always tends to affect scoring..

Dave's Khemri are better painted than my CDs, but I was hoping my extensive conversion work would see me through.. anyway, started on my 2 BCs now..

Thx to all coaches for a very nice weekend. Special thx to Dave, Redfang and Draco for organising the Bubble again.

I wont tell much about my games. Just so much, I had a lot of luck.

@Vince
Perhaps this nice (and you are right VERY lucky) move was a "small compensation" for your "not rolling a 1 streak" in half one.

For sure I will be back next year. I will try to defend my title with the chaos miniature I won. Only problem I dont dare to paint them, cause they are so seldom and I just suck at painting. Lets see how to solve this problem.
