I chose Green... prolly cuz my Rodent Rampage is green. But bleached bone WOULD look cool. Especially for people who can paint it well. So... perhaps maybe Bleached Bone and Green

Heck maybe I'll paint the FUR the contrasting color!!Djengis_Khan wrote:I like the bleached bone, but I think it is tupid to say that the skaven fur is dark.
skaven fur can be lots of colours and I think it will be cool to have difference !
so i probably WON'T make my skaven fur dark brown or brown at all.
no problem if some people do but I like lots of variation and originality !
bleached bone will fit almost any other colours though

Del put it in the net - no way bone will look good with fur! unless anyone can explain a earth colour palate and secondary/tertiary complaments i would avoid it like the plague.
-----
fur ^ earthy dull
kit ^ bright colourfull
= interesting opposite colour scheme

No action in 10 days. I think Bleached Bone is safely the winner. In terms of bright colours, I think they'll look wrong. Bright colours are really too Bobby Wong. I'd rather see skaven looking dirty and dark which you can do much easier with bleached bone and it will still stand out from the fur.

Hmm, earthy colours for flesh and fur and a primary earthy colour for the uniform. Great contrast!Tackledummy wrote:No action in 10 days. I think Bleached Bone is safely the winner. Contrast can be achieved in a lot more ways than colour alone. Think outside the square a bit more mate. At the end of the day its preference of style as well. Look at Victoria Lamb and Glen Lamprecht's (sp?) work, basically no contrast on colour but outstanding miniatures and they look so much more real and characterful than the fresh out of the painting factory Wong style.Hmm, earthy colours for flesh and fur and a primary earthy colour for the uniform. Great contrast!
