You're a Wood Elf coach. Doesn't the Forest League pay you to say such things? ;)

I'm not JUST a wood elf coach. I've coached about 10 different races. And I can say as an Orc coach, or an undead coach, or any other kind of coach that I don't think that leap was overpowered. My orcs never worried about all the leapers their opponent had before a game.

Now, on the other hand, I used to worry a lot about how many diving tacklers they had, or how many guys with guard were on that dwarf team, or how many mutant blenders (my euphamism for claw/razor claw chaos and skaven players) there were and so on.

Never did with leap though. :)

Leaping Gobbos

Post by Da Scum »

I found Leap is a very useful asset to the Goblins in making them further annoying. Several times in league play now opponents do everything to completely mess up the ball-carrier getting anywhere down the field without going through a pile of tackle zones with either tackle, diving tackle, and even both. Leap has always messed that up, as it now drops you to only one dodge roll, if done right, rather than minimum three, if he's set his defence right.

And if the Goblin has ended up with an AG boost, even better. :smoking:

Even the Goblin coach gets a +1 to injury rolls! Ow!

Leap is fine as it is now. Several leaps per turn was a little bit too powerful since you could jump in AND jump out. Now you jump in and take the heat.

PS. My High Elf team has one ST 4 + Leap and one Guard + Leap. That is a nice combo.DS :D
