Dauntless and Strip Ball are handy skills you know... And even a STR 5 Thro-Ra is still ag 2 (and he needs doubles to get break tackle to make it a real monster).
If they don't have block yet even half-die blocks have a reasonable chance of taking 'em down.

Ok ... now tell me how I could have done anything like that ? I only got three doubles for the whole team, always on line-elves. I should've given 'em dauntless instead of guard ? And then try to dodge into a cage full of guard to blitz a ST5 sure hands player ? Yeah right. Yes I could've given it to my AG5 leaper line-elf, but saddly, I rolled my double before my AG upgrade and I don't think you can blame me for not expecting it ...
Of course, I'm not complaining about my team, but I'm still a new coach, and even if my AG5 WD helps me win game, it doesn't make me any better ... give me a break ok ?

Wow, I apologise if my post offended you in any way, that was not my intention (in my defense, english is not my first language)! I was just trying to say that just because he has an STR 5 thro-ra that doesn't make him unbeatable, there are plenty of countermeasures (even if you don't have some of them in your team). And yes, unless he has a guarder on every corner of that cage I would try to get in there and take a half-die block shot at that thro-ra/bull centaur. It seems like madness but you have a decent shot at taking him down, especially with a re-roll handy.Coach Alex wrote:Ok ... now tell me how I could have done anything like that ? Well, I might have misunderstood too, since english isn't my first language neither (french in my case).
Anyway, I defeated both teams, managed to get the trophy. It's quite an achievement for me, but I think it'd be time I pick a weaker team ... wood elves are just too strong when they manage to survive ...
