Excuse me but if he's blitzing you, chances are that he'll get 2 dice, limiting the chance of having to choose block. Beside, a push skull is always possible. So you just end up with giving the ball to the other before knowing if you really have to.

He blitzes. Dump off to him. He catches. Block : push, block. He takes push and run away ! Really good combo

You have the ball, you keep it. You don't have it, you take it. You never give it.

I would try it on a 1 die block but not on a 2 dice block. :)

OK, it would go wrong at least 9 in 10 times.

But I just want to see the face of my opponent the one time it worked :-)

Taking a photo of the opponents face after his blocking player was forced to catch the ball during a dump off, going down on a block due to wrestle afterwards and causing a turnover...

Priceless :)

Eh, what youve done is a bit more than nothing: your opponent suffers a turnover...

No he doesn't. It would only be a turnover if the ball is caught by the Blitzing player AND the Die results are such that he HAS to pick a POW/Skull. That's not what I said.

If the blitzer doesnt catch the ball, then he doesnt even get a chance to block, because at the moment he drops the ball its a turnover and his Action is finished at the spot.

A failed catch roll is not a turnover. What matters is who threw the pass in the first place. Otherwise Dump Off can end the moving teams turn simply by being used.
2. A passed ball, or hand-off, is not caught by any member of the moving team before the ball comes to rest
I can see how it's possible to interpret this the other way. But clearly this turnover text is ment to apply to passes made by the moving team's players, not to Dump Offs made by the opposing team.

No, I think this isn't correct Black Orc.
Then it should also be a turnover if you don't catch the ball on a KO where the ball will land in one of your players squares or moved a player to the square(due quick snap).

1) Failing a catch roll is never, ever the sole cause of a turnover.

2) the Catch attempt during a kickoff is not made during any player's turn, therefore can never, ever cause a turnover (no turn to end)

3) Dump off skill says this: "The normal throwing rules apply, except that
neither team’s turn ends as a result of the throw, whatever it may be."

Its just great to come here and refresh the rules that come up too infrequently to rememeber correctly.
Thanks :)

And if the blitzing player has juggernaut, wrestle won't work.

I still think this is a funny maneuver.
