I am just thinking of putting Piling on on my Norse Blitzer, I figured the Jump up ability will help with placing my guy prone.
One question though, I have to roll an armour roll for my player too right? Not 100% on this as with AV7 I am prone to injuring myself.

You do not make an AV roll for your own player, you Place him Prone.Tritex wrote:I am just thinking of putting Piling on on my Norse Blitzer, I figured the Jump up ability will help with placing my guy prone.

My Ogres lived and died by Pile On!!!
I had 4.4 casualties per match. 2 Ogres had more than One per match. (45 games and they has 46 and 47 casualties)
Getting fouled is bad but if you have Pile on (I did for 4 of 6 ogres) you rack casualties up big time!!! Save it for Stuns only. If you score a K/O thats all good... One less person to foul you! When you have snots, you need to outnumber the other guy as fast as possible! Pile On does this for you in a big way! Look at the %ages!
Ogres and PO is all good in a big way!

That is the usual rule of thumb for PO. I occasionally re-roll AV if I am men up already, and/or in a situation where it is unlikely to matter if my guy goes prone (e.g. he can't be fouled). Re-rolling AV has got me some valuable casualties in recent games.GorTex wrote:I only use Piling On if ... I have broken armor and gotten just a Stun. The only thing I am willing to place myself prone for is if the player is at least stunned..I'm not going down next to just a prone player.
