fyi july is pretty packed out with uk tourneys (rocket bowl this year was planned for july ended up moving to october) it would be best to move to another month.

I do get the impression that the major impediment to a UK tourney is finding a date - it's great that the schedule is so packed, but difficult to fit new ones in for areas of the country that aren't as well served.

Since no one (not even Lycos) is expected to go to every tournament in the UK I dont think the number of events matters too much as long as there are enough.

Coaches are perfectly able to choose which events they fancy based on reputation and travel time. Obviously all tournaments which get enough support will run and those that dont will not run. Hence any tournament running will be running because enough people chose that tournament over its competitiors.

Being spoilt for choice is hardly something to complain about anyway.
