quicker and easier do not necessarily make better games.

faster yes.

But then again we all love to build our teams, why stint on that experience? Be all you can be... (sounds like a recruiting slogan - why not equate to Bloodbowl.)

knowing that there is a 8 4 5 7 dodge jump up frenzy Block pass block catch pro witch in the way of my passing lanes does not scare me, it just makes me assess my options more tactically.

Bah!
IMO, really high TV blood bowl gets repetitive.
Hey, let's play "try to not roll snakes" :o

Yeah, I know, it's not exactly a fair description, but I like the games where mistakes are more likely to happen, so interesting situations can develop, rather than "elfy shootout" or "2-1 stomp".

Cheers

at that level you can easily have Elf teams built to fight and ST teams built to pass...

much more unexpected combinations can arise.

IMHO smaller team values and less skilled players mean more failures due to dice rolling, which is not why we play the game.

I dunno, at higher levels of TR (my experience of high TV is limited) I've found the 2-1 stomp is pretty much ruled out because of the higher number of skills involved.
I see the 2-1 more at low levels.

And the elfy shootout happens whatever the TR/TV is, it just means that more teams can get involved in it at higher levels, rather than just the elfs, skaven and lizzies at low levels.

Well, I'l just agree to disagree.

IMO, at mad-range TV (150ish), you've got enough skills to not blow up, but if you do, you can still pressure your opponent into also blowing up.

I've seen enough high TV games decided by one stompy side rolling decently with their killers. Or the elfy shootout decided by whoever rolled the most snakes.
I'm glad you like it though :)
