+MA is great on Mummies - I have taken it several times. Mummies should not be bunched together, IMO. They work well in defense in the second line, in the "shoulder" position, forcing most opponents to go through a ST5 player if he wants to enter your backfield on his first turn of offense.
Ghouls die, this is in their nature. Not only do they die, they do not reliably stay on the pitch. I suggest this argues against undue specialisation for this player type. The orthodox split for me would be 1 or 2 Ghouls as ball handlers (Runners) and 2 or 3 Ghouls as Blitzers (ball hunters with Wrestle as first skill). It is often good to put only 3 Ghouls on the field in defense (one is swapped for a Zombie Kicker). This allows you to hide a Ghoul Runner in the dugout for your next drive. In any case, the high turnover of Ghouls ought to be considered in team skill development.
Tackle is perhaps the best orthodox first skill on Wights (who else is going to take it as first skill?). [Mention could be made of the alternative strategy of developing one or both Wights as ball handlers (Runner/Throwers), with skills such as S-Hands, KoR, S-Arm. This is a successful strategy. The main advantage is that Wights are 3 times better at retaining skills than Ghouls are. It also has the advantage that you can develop all the Ghouls in a generic way, without worrying about player turnover).]
I can't get excited about Skellies, I prefer Zombies. The main advantage of Skellies is when facing Claw teams, I would consider the +1MA as a rather slight advantage. Two early Zombie skills worth emphasising are Dirty Player (on more than one player) and Kick. Undead are one of the great fouling teams, this could be mentioned.
Undead are one of the more TV-effective teams in the modern game. As leagues progress, Undead are likely to enjoy inducements against many opponents. So it might be worth exploring the inducement options beyond Igor, including the Stars. I would rate 2 Babes as quite a bit better than Igor. The Undead KO box is often full, it is the CAS box that is empty (due to Regen).
Hope that helps, and all the best with your playbook.
