Humans need to use their versatility to their maximum advantage. By giving the thrower accurate and strong he may be as good at passing as a strong arm elf but that’s all those 2 skills will help with. With Blodge he’s more mobile and harder to get the ball off and a lot more useful when he doesn’t have the ball. These skills helps keep him on his feet and thus on the pitch and he can be used for blocking plus is more mobile to give assists or mark opposing players.
NoS, diving catch are both very situational as well and I’d say you’d likely used them less than once a game on average which is not much use for 50K TV. With block or wrestle and either SS or Dauntless he’s a lot more useful and still has MA8 dodge and catch so can be a good receiver.
