And if they don't fire him? :)

I will be in for Amazons just waiting till the number of TFM teams hit critical mass before ordering a bunch...

However what sort of option will there be for people that want 4 blitzers, 2 throwers, 2 runners, 8 linewomen?

I really like these Zons. Happy to see that you can make good Amazon minis without them looking like their breast are going to knock them out when they run.

These Zons definitely look like they belong on a Blood Bowl field (as opposed to dancing on a stage), while at the same time not being too armoured for AV7. Based on what I've seen, they will be my Amazon team. The $35 price tag doesn't hurt either! :)

(going to hope my Ogres when they are done get a similar reaction to Chris's Amazons)

Great to see you back, mate. Can't wait to see those Ogres!

All the best with a speedy recovery

This, if I hadn't already bought all the kit for an elaborate amazons conversion I've been planning for years :)

At this time ... I don't have an answer if you really want the 2 extra linewomen. With LRB6 ... the only team I've normally seen run with more than 14 players on the roster are Tier 3 in nature. If the team sells really well and more asked for it ... we could look at having a mould made just to create a set of 2 Linewomen.

I'll often go up to 14 players with zons, but rarely beyond; and of the roster options it's the throwers who miss out. Use the thrower models as linewomen (particularly if you give one Sure Hands) and you should be peachy.

I don't think I've ever had a team with 16 players, but I still like to get 16+ players on all my teams, including full positionals (excluding linemen). So all my teams that can take a big guy have at least 17 models. For example, my plastic human team has 4 Blitzers, 4 Catchers, 2 Throwers, 6 Linemen and 1 Ogre. I can't ever see myself using a team that had 10 positional players and then 5 Linemen and an Ogre, but it just seems 'right' to have the full squad.

On the same note, I don't have a Chaos team, but if I did it would have 12 Beastmen, 4 Chaos Warriors and a Minotaur. This is despite the fact that I've never seen anyone playing with a 16 man Chaos team anywhere before.

I'm sure I'm not alone in wanting a full squad for all my teams either.

Yup, fair enough. I just figure you can't go wrong for $35 though, and I suspect a couple of spare GW minis would fill the gap.

I know what you're saying though; I personally have a thing about all my teams having 24 (for one team) or 32 miniatures (for 2-3 teams)... but that's another conversation entirely...

Well, one option could be to sell 12 woman amazon teams in limited numbers and if they sell use the 2 spare linewomen to bulk a few up to 16? Course that is not really an option as most amazon teams seem to have 0-1 throwers in a 13 woman team so in fact would be needing those linewomen...

Maybe cast a couple in metal if you get enough pre-orders?

Hopeful bump? Particularly 'hopeful' in that I really hope the delay in getting through this is due to an issue with the packages, not a sign of a complication in Tom's recovery from surgery.
