Futhlap of the Crackton Rox
9 1 4 7 Dodge, Dauntless, Horns
4 games, 1 Completion, 5 TDs.

Just wait....
Just got another game in. Skilled up on a 1 turn TD (with MA 9 :) ). Doubles again.

C'mon doubles again... Futhlap needs Multiple Block to go with his mighty Snotling-like strength. Maybe I'll even be able to grab Block at some point... nah.

I like my Bull Centaur: Ick Voltstomper

He has developed quite nicely, though the league may have been retired due to the emergence of FUMBBL.

6 4 2 9 Block, Dodge, Stand Firm, Break Tackle, Sure Hands, Sprint, Sure Feet, Thick Skull

Not the easiest guy to get off the pitch.

2 Completions
20 TD's
6 Casualties
3 MVP's

:o

I'd hate to see the kind of play where this guy needs to throw long...

I'm pretty sure they were completions that didn't matter to the outcome of the game. More like at the end of a game to get an extra SPP. I don't get into the habit of tossing the ball around with my Bulls.

The greatest player in the history of Gobstyks is without question the, now legendary, "Bob the Skink":

Bob 8 2 4 8* Dodge, Stunty, Block, Catch, Side Step, Sure Feet

Played: 15
Comp: 2
TD: 20
Cas: 4
MVP: 8**

He got +1 AG for his first advance, and preceded to make a total nuisance of himself. My opponents would get most annoyed and say "I'm gonna get that bloody Skink!". Just to taunt them, I painted little Bob bright red, a mark from the gods to distinguish him from his colleagues (team colours were otherwise green). Of course, Bob continued to run rings around everybody without ever getting hurt. He retired safely to a little pond just south of Skeggi. The end.

*This was during 3rd ed. so yeah, Magic Helmet
**Our league had a house rule which allowed us to choose our MVPs

Best player I have seen is a dark elf blitzer.

7 4 4 9 Block, Dodge, Tackle, Strip Ball, Leap, Pro, Stand Firm, Leader

Was from 3rd edition and he won the team the league title.

I have quite a few good players on this team including a fair number of dead ones but my personal favourite is the dearly departed:
Murray Hookchin Dark Elf Lineman
MA4 ST3 AG3 AV8
Injuries: -ma, -ma, -ma, -ag, n, d
Skills: Block, Dirty Player, Diving Tackle, Dodge, Kick
Stats: Games 119 Cp 8 TD 2 Int 1 Cas 10 MVP 8 SPP 76
The bio explains why this character is my favourite but it needs updating due to his recent death.

My best human LINEMAN, 8 3 4 8,
All he seemed able to do was rolling extra skills, but it resulted in a much tougher catcher then his original kin. :smoking:

Iquolo the wardancer

Post by BingohanZ »

Hej there i´ve got a wardancer who can compete with the best of all ball catchers/carriers.
The stats are 8/3/5/8 block, dodge, leap, jump up, sprint, sure feet, catch, pass block
Amongst his achievements in a career running over 47 matches he has made 4 interceptions and a hell of a lot of TD`s. he also got a nig. but what the hell i couldn`t dump him from my Cockerel. Star players like that dos not come around every year.

9 2 5 7 Dodge, Block, Jump up, Leap, Shure hands...
I wish he could have had N.O.S

Anyway...
