I don't know about 3rd edition, but I'm almost positive it was in the 4th edition text. But since those were summarily burned, I guess there's no way to prove that.

Anything I say is totally opinion and (knowing my luck) probably completely wrong. Keep this in mind.

Its not in the 3rd edition rulebook Zombie unless I've missed it ... just one of those things that everyone has "always known" ... but when we look its not actually there.

Like i said, i think it was in the FAQs.

0 Stat guys can work.

MV 0 guy just radiates a TZ.
ST 0 guy needs to stay clear of all opponents
AG 0 guy cant dodge, or come near the ball. But can inflict damage.

I don't know whether a player can have stats at 0, but...

MA 0 guys would be able to use Go For Its
AG 0 guys would still succeed what they try on a 6.
S 0 guys could still throw blocks. They would simply always be three dice-opponent choice unless assists were used.

Stats below 1

Post by Smeborg »

I think at one point (either official rules, or "official" FAQs) that a stat reduction to zero equated to death. I quite liked that.

On the other hand, I think it would be kind of cool to have stats of 0 and minus 1 on the pitch.

Cheers

just come up with a rule you you could use.

when a stat reaches 0 roll a D6,

on a 1 the player must retire due to injuries,
2-6 is the number of weeks needed to recover, the stat stays at 1!

just a suggestion, but sounds good to me.

Good suggestion malki I like it but requires too much bookwork, I would propose ya shorten it to miss next game alone.

If he got a stat decrease wouldn't he already miss the next game?

I say leave it at one but note that it is a minus so that way if he ever happened to get a stat increase it would stay at one rather then go up to 2.
