just use the "classic" undead roster, and claim that, according to the rules, it's "just a +1 to AV" . ;)

Reason: ''
Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

 Well, by the time she's official, your opponent might be able to claim that your "classic" undead team doesn't exist, so you just conceeded the match.

And the 10+ penalty roll can be neglected (you have to roll a 11 or 12!)
Well no... 10+ means 10, 11 and 12... a 1 in 6 chance.

With a re-roll, it's like a four-dice block!

The thing about Zara...

Does she have to block and score a knockdown to be able to use the stakes, or does it work like the Dark Elf assassin... no block, just target a player and make an armour roll?

Yes, that will definitely take care of her killing all the ghouls, doesn't it?

She has to block and get the knockdown first.

I've referred to Khemri teams as the predators of the BB world. The same way as predators keep the mole/rabbit populations in check in real world, mummies with Piling on keep BB players from growing too far. But what keeps the mummies in check? The answer is here...

Well, 10+ gives you much better odds than 11+. Double, in fact.

And while she will at least stun a lot of ghouls, she gets no bonus to injury... just armour.

I gotta agree with you there. I can't think of one other star player out there that is geared towards one type of team. What's next? Star players with flaming torches to take out those pesky Treemen? Or maybe a new skill; "Sticky" so those pesky elves can't run circles around you. She goes on the pitch against my Undead, she's got a bullseye on her (ample) chest, that's for sure...

Eh, Nerkotic.
A penalty roll of 10+ means that the player is sent off on a 10, 11 or 12.
Not just 11 or 12.

Surely Zara is just a nice bit of fluff for colour designed because people love kids shows. People don't use Stars surely. :o

Zara's targeting of the Undead is unique. But then, so is the Regenerate skill that most Undead come with. No doubt she's a concern for an Undead coach, but because of Regenerate I'm not so sure she's that big a deal. No doubt, it'll be interesting to watch her chase Ghouls while the Wights and Mummies chase her...

I say bring her on. My Undead look forward to the challenge.
