i don't think 2RRs is a good idea ...

how about trading one blitzer for a lineman and buy an extra RR with the 40k savings + the 10k from your treasury.

The 2 rerolls probably won't be enough because you'll end up using them to get your blitzers to catch... and then won't be able to use them on the blitzers dodges.

You could try relegating a thower to a lineman (I know you don't want 6 but 1 will get killed at some point) droppin your ff by 2 and using that cash to have a third reroll.

I agree that having 4 blitzers is almost a must for any starting human team!

Yep,

you´re right. After thinking about it again i changed one thrower to a lineman, dropping FF and got the third ReRoll.
2 ReRolls would be really not enough for a human team without catchers.
So i finally ended up with my own first roster just changed a ReRoll for the apo to be on the safe side...

Thanks for the advices.

So i think tomorrow this team will play the first game....
Just need a name....damn, Blood Bowl is making my brain burn again...

Have fun.

The good thing about Humans is, that if your current setup/strategy is unsuccesful, you can just switch to another. Humans have more strings to play on, than most teams, and therefore any "mistakes" you make when buying your team hopefully will not be fatal.

Thanks,

yep so the Drakenburg Dragons did their first game today against a 165 Teamrating Undead Team and.....yeppa they really won 2-1, no dead ones, just one lineman who misses the next game, bought a second thrower, one Blitzer got a skill (will be guard i think) with two TDs and the Fanfactor went up.
Well, thats what i call a great start...

ok so i have also started up a human team (on FUMBBL) using the roster grumbledook suggested but im not so sure about what i have to do... i have already beaten a goblin team and drew against a norse team but i feel im not using them correctly... i purchased an apoth and a new blitzer.

this is the link to my team: http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team& ... m_id=34245 i got dauntless on my catcher as 1st skill.

Main question i have is what do i do with my blitzers and linemen... im used to wood elf and high elf so humies are a new ball game to me!

thanks!

Blitzers either take Guard and on double Stand Firm (make them blockers really) or Tackle/Strip Ball, Dodge on doubles and use them as blitzers.

Use your linemen to mark players / absorb hits on LOS, when your receiving postion a llineman for 2d block your favor to open a gap in his line run a blitzer and catcher through and use the blitzer to 2d block a back line defender! run another catcher an blitzer through. Use your other two bleitzers to guard your thrower with ball (who should be out of opponents move range). Your second turn move thrower up throw ball to one of you 4 players in the back field, perform pass and score...

When kicking boot the ball to the back, let him beat on linemen. Again try to open a hole in his line and flood his back field with your players, putting pressure on him to collect the ball and either form a cage quite far back or pass the ball forward, hopefully with the speed of catchers and blitzers you'll be able to catch him.

Obviously there is reinement to these tactics, but I do like an aggressive defence where they're reacting to you...
