To those that have wondered about when they can get their hands on this (in my opinion) beautifully made team there isn't much news. While there are some really nice prints of the figures on indiegogo, actual clones have not been shown yet (except for one of the stretch goal figures). Even the indiegogo contributors haven't heard anything about delivery dates yet( during the campiagn it planned tobe in late spring/early summer 2013) , so its anybodies guess when they will be available to the public. Seems that Necrom has had some problems with their cloner (and in finding a replacement).

Well, they did put up some photos of finished casts, and they looked pretty poor (though the photography might be to blame). If the delay means that he finds a better caster, if will be worthwhile.

I really liked the look of the team so I backed them. I am disappointed at how long it is taking to get them cloned and sent out to the backers. Is there a time limit from when a campaign closes as to when the product must be delivered? If he wanted to (I know he doesn't want this) could he wait 10 years waiting for the right cloner? That question is based around kickstarter and Indigo and not Necrom Studio.

I don't think there is a time limit. There's been some outcry on Kickstarter because certain projects have taken more than a year or more to be realized, and Indiegogo seems to be, if anything, even more lax about that sort of thing.

Gaixo is right ... both Indiegogo and KickStarter are AT RISK capital projects. This means you are not guaranteed at all to get the item you pledged for. You should ... but its not required.

So far I have yet to back a project that never delivered ... but I have had some that went way over their projected delivery dates for one reason or another.

I'm a backer of the Necrom Amazons for a full team as well ... both from wanting to help a company trying to break into the community and wanting to see how his resin Amazons compared to our resin Amazon team that we produce. So like you all ... I'm patiently waiting.

I will say from having backed over 40 KickStarter/Indiegogo projects ... that at least Necrom is trying to post semi-regular updates. Most projects that run into trouble go silent because they don't want to read all the negative comments ... so I do credit him for still showing that he is trying even if he is running into difficulty.

I have lost my money in a Kickstarter pledge. I lost $28 in backing Oden's Ravens, a two-person "card" game. The guy skipped town as soon as the KS finished. If you are getting updates that is a good sign.

Yeah. And, in fact, as much as people gave him a hard time about letting his partner use the Necrom name to run another crowdfunding campaign before this one had been fulfilled, at least that shows that they aren't bailing on the company and value their brand.

Update on the spanish forum (with picture)

http://bloodbowlforo.org/phpBB3/viewtop ... &start=480

I have not backed the KS, but as I am reading both forums, I can explain what seems to have happen.

The picture is from the first 4 linewomen cloned by Verdier. This was the original caster, that did not fullfill his part of the agreement. From what I have been reading from Necrom Studios they tried to contact him several times and Verdier answers occasionally. It seems that he has so much work to do (it seems that he is the best caster in Spain from what I have heard from other companies posting) that he did not manage to deliver/produce them in time.

Palomares from Necrom Studio has contacted different casters and is currently waiting to receive the example copies from each of them. Once he has them all, he will decided based on the final quality. I can understand that you are worried, but he is trying really hard. Guess Galak is right. As it is a new company, there are things that improve with experience.

Another update has been posted on the Indiegogo page

"Hi,

This new cloner sent me the halfling test copies that I showed, in hand look better,
also he sent me a copy of a figure from another brand that he makes the copies too, and is perfect, he assured me that if they see any bubbles discard that copy, so they should be very good.

He told me that on Monday or Tuesday I should receive the rest of copies of the halfling, so that week I'll send the other 10 minis left to clone and he has promised to begin immediately, from he receiving the miniatures told me it will take two months to have the copies ready to close this campaign definitely. I'll also require he if it exceeds the time limit given to me, he have to compensate me in some way for added motivation."

While I appreciate this information and the fact that it appears that he is still trying to get this project completed. It doesn't annoy me any less.

Has anyone received these? I missed out on the funding and was wondering if any would be available to buy later, but it sounds like those the funded the project haven't even gotten anything yet... that sucks! Hope they can get these pieces out- the throwers are really the only ones i'm interested in, but it's a great team in all.

Looks like my only fail of all my kickstarter and indiegogo projects I supported ... Let's see if there is anything happening THIS year! At last I will will not support another one of this company. :pissed:

I backed this project and still have a hope I'll one day see the miniatures.

However Impact! started working on an Amazon team after Necrom's campaign started and have been selling it for quite a while using pretty much the same process as Necrom is having so much difficulty with. So since I needed an Amazon team and Impact!'s was only $35 for 16 players (just slightly more than $2 each), I went ahead and bought the Amazon team from Impact! and have been happily playing Amazons. Its a very nice team with a great style to the women especially for the price.

I'm not sure why Impact! could produce an entire Amazon team so quickly compared to the problems that Necrom is having but at least I can play Amazons with my Impact! team and when/if I get the Necrom one I'll compare the two and decide which one I want to Ebay (or give to one of my friends as a gift).

So am I. This looks like being the definitive Amazon team.
