The weather is.not completely neutral, as some teams handle certain results better than others.

Wood elves, for example, can largely ignore the rain when picking up the ball, while.Khemri really struggle with it.

Likewise, sweltering heat has a great impact on slow teams than fast: I'll happily play Skaven with 7 players, or any of the elves. Conversely, if dwarves.lose a couple, they are largely ineffectual.

I was thinking that while sure, Blitz favors the kicking team, I think it is fair because both teams have the same access to the chance to blitz:every team is going to kick the ball.

Point taken that some teams can take advantage of blitz more than others, like elf teams leaping over the line and snagging the ball. And these teams are going to have more chances to do this because, if they are scoring a lot, then they are kicking a lot. But I see that as just another aspect of this type of team: they are fast, agile and play the ball more than others. It may not be 'fair' in that is isn't exactly the same as every other team, but it isn't really supposed to be, the fun is in the differences. in the same game there could also be sweltering heat and that elf team loses 4 expensive players while the goblin team loses 4 goblins worth barely more than 1 wardancer and has a full bench ready to fill the gaps.

Just another aspect of the variety of advantages and disadvantages and I'm ok with blitz being a better advantage for the kicking team than the 'other side of the coin' on the chart for the receiving team since the roles will be reversed later in the game.

Blitz is necessary to keep the offense honest. If it weren't as powerful as it is you could overstack a part of the pitch without fear and it would be very hard for some teams to defend against that.

I think I said a couple weeks back on twitter that I think Blitz is fine. Throw a rock is the one result I really have a problem with. It should still be in there, but moved to snake eyes.

I actually like the option you guys mention where throw a rock should only cause BH at most, since it sounds like you guys have the same experience of it to myself = it's a killer almost all the time :p
