Re: Nightdragon's Tactical questions
K, that makes sense. I tend to run teams of similar players in scheduled leagues, so I don't take the full impact of a missing star since I don't really have any stars to begin with. But yeah, if you run Skaven or Wood Elves in a sked league I could see how it would be different. Definitely, though, in a matchmaking environment, it's best to get use of your Apo when it's going to affect the game at hand rather than saving it for a theoretical injury to an impact player.

What is Nuffle's view? Through a window, two-by-three. He peers through snake eyes.
What is Nuffle's lawn? Inches, squares, and tackle zones: Reddened blades of grass.
What is Nuffle's tree? Risk its trunk, space the branches. Touchdowns are its fruit.

Re: Nightdragon's Tactical questions
In my current ECBBL team I only ever use the apo on a stat break, in the hope I can get a kill, which I take. Lost a +AG gutter runner and a lino last game...it was a good day! Have not used my apo in the last two games. But then I hate my team
