Is the car park big enough for a game of bloodbowl then?!
Definitely up for that.
In a blue peter stylee:
Arrive Saturday 8am (ish) with crate of lager/cider (cans preferable). Play your games, drink. At 6 when we've finished the board version. Boxes of scissors, wire, string and glue, and maybe some extra foam from the blister packs will be put out. You have 30 minutes to fashion your 'kit' from this and the 24 empty cans. Then out onto the 'astro-granite' for a bit of 'boistrous mirth' as I believe it says in the programme. we'll go back to the old rules of first to 3 wins. for sporting value we'll start using a ball after 15 minutes...

Don't say stuff like that, I have not played much 3rd edition and have never even faced some of the races, so expect to get surprised...in a bad way...shaniepoo wrote:Is there going to be a prize for the person who gets 200th place?

Realistically...
I expect to place in the top 100... just like Thads, I regard myself as a good coach (not a great coach, but better than average) and I am playing with my favourite team, so if I'm not in the top 100, I either played badly or got bad luck or both...
If I'm up there with the other top Dwarf coaches I'll be happy..
beating Thads is all I care about
though beating Anca would be good too...

Norse: I'll finally bring my lizards. I'm not enough good coaching dwarves... I lost more than 15 playtest matches with dwarves. Although I thought I'd get better possibilities at painting contest with my now unfished dwarves... that is my decision (card filled and sent; sure I'll miss block and beards
)

Whose gonna win
I voted top 10!
I figure I can go toe-to-toe with anybody (based on reasonably fair dice rolling for both players).
What I'm interested in seeing is the appearance of a few unknowns who don't do TBB but play a mean game of BB.
They may well slap us all over the park - well, maybe you guys, I'm going to win it

in short... a world full of hurt my friend...Ancalagon wrote:Macattack? what's that?

MacAttack is actually the popular name for the Dwarf team officially known as The Midgard Maulers. All the Dwarves on this team claim a northern celtic ancestry, and so all their last names start Mac....
e.g. Frugal MacDougal, Bloodbath MacGrath, Fury MacRuary etc etc etc
they are, without question, the hardest hitting team in Holland, though it is unknown how well they will perform overseas....
