They model them in computers, then figure the best way to cut them for the limitations of plastic injection. For some conversions, probably best is to assemble all them with plastic glue, then cut once fused, like if they were single part metals.

With these starter set models that's certainly true, cutting them into fewer parts reduces production costs, but the multi part kit coming soon will be easier to work with. If you can swallow the price.

Well, if I want the WHF experience, I'll wait till Total War: Warhammer comes out. That looks like it will be great.
