From their update:
"The survey (which originally had 160 questions!) will be with you next Friday, and we will be shipping your first teams and the games shortly after!"

Re: DreadBall - The Futuristic Sports Game
Similar to a few others I've stopped at the 1 additional team but picked up 16 figures for it, and thrown keepers and a couple of multi ex creatures as a taster.
Personally season 3 is just too far away for me to consider committing. If the game doesn't take off I'll have a heap of stuff I won't be using going straight to eBay.
Stew - if you are reading is there any chance of the digital rulebook getting release earlier the December? Play a test game based on the published core rules... a lot of fun, but (obviously) there are still some gaps.

Went in for Striker, the buy one get one on the teams and the Penny Arcade MVP.

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

I'll see what I can do. Most of it hasn't been started yet, but the female team are being done at the moment, so it depends how far the sculptor gets before the survey goes up.Shteve0 wrote:Stew, if you're reading - can we see some initial sculpts? I may be willing to throw some more of my money at you when the survey goes up
Most definitely. The digital rules will be going up after the survey has gone out (we need to catch all the people whose payments haven't gone through first to make sure we don't miss anyone). Probably end of the month.AdvanceOp wrote:Stew - if you are reading is there any chance of the digital rulebook getting release earlier the December? Sweet! That will help with demos and making it look a bit more like a solid game. Making up rules on the fly for scattering the ball just doesn't look professionalStew wrote:Most definitely. What is the deal with the "Keepers"?
Are they not included in the 16 players deal? Do you have to buy them seperatly and how many a team do you need? Does every team got them?

Pretty certain Keepers are upgraded Guards but I could be wrong.Magictobe wrote:What is the deal with the "Keepers"?

That is a complex survey. And it doesn't give a total at the end!

I think having to type in all those zeros has given me RSI.
