TTM with Trolls Pro or Pass?
The question is, if you have a troll for a TTM action (i.e. Orc or Goblin teams) then which is better use of a double roll - Pro or Pass.
Now the normal chance of success is 5/6 * 5/6 * 4/6 (assuming a short pass so fumbling on a 1 or 2).
Thats ~46.3% chance of pulling it off.
Pass makes that a 61.7% chance of success (5/6 * 5/6 * 8/9).
Pro is a lot more complex (of course!) but basically it works out at 61.7% too.
Now given that pro has general uses the choice is clear - Pro is a better choice than Pass.
Roughly:
Really Stpuid: Success 83.3%. With Pro 6.9%
Always Hungry: Success without using pro 69.4%, with pro on RS 5.7%, with pro on AH 5.7%
Pass: Success without using pro 46.2%, with pro on RS 3.9%, with Pro on AH 3.9%, with Pro 7.7%

because throwing the little bugger takes 3 rolls by the troll and pass only matters on the last one, and pro or leader can be used on any one of them...
It's a tough call... easier choice in my league because pro can try to reroll armour rolls so it's definatly the best...
for a LRb league yeah it's a choice between leader and pro...
Leader WILL help anyone on the team, but once per half,
Pro MAY help the troll, but once per team turn.
Forget pass... flip a coin.

This probably is a stupid question
, but how often can you use the pro skill in one turn?
E.g. if you blow the RS-roll, then succesfully reroll it using the Pro skill and fail the AH-roll or Pass roll. Can you use the Pro skill again?
I'd also like to ask a question regarding the Dodge skill: You can only use it once to reroll a failed Dodge-roll - I understood that
. But if someone blocks a player who has the Dodge-skill and gets Pushback/POW and afterwards the same player gets blitzed with Pushback/POW -does the Dodge-skill still apply?
Thanks in advance for your answers,
Tante Kaethe.

Only the active player is restricted to using skills once.Tante Kaethe wrote:I'd also like to ask a question regarding the Dodge skill: You can only use it once to reroll a failed Dodge-roll - I understood that. Yes, Dodge affects the results on every block - but only if the attacker doesn't have TackleTante Kaethe wrote:But if someone blocks a player who has the Dodge-skill and gets Pushback/POW and afterwards the same player gets blitzed with Pushback/POW -does the Dodge-skill still apply?

LRB page 11: Unless the defender has the Dodge skill he is pushed back and then knocked over. If he does have the Dodge skill then he is only pushed back. The attacking player may follow up the defender.
