Necro Team help
Greetings all. Now I'm sure this has been asked before, but I shall ask again nevertheless... I was pondering the best starting line up for a necro team and where to proceed from there. So far I've only played one game with the boys (which resulted in a 2-1 defeat due to some appalling dice rolling) in which I used: 2 Wights (180k), 1 Flesh Golem (120k), 1 Ghoul (70k), 2 Werewolves (240k), 5 Zombies (150k), with 3 Rerolls (210k) and 3 FF. Is this a good starting point, or would I be better off losing a Reroll and buying an extra Zombie and FF 7? It sounds like a better setup, but I just don't trust the Undead not to male chicken up at the worst moment, so the extra Reroll could be very handy... Thoughts?

My 2 cents on this.
I never start with less than 3 RR for necros. They just don't have enough Block on the team to be trusted. Whatever starting lineup I try, it always has those RRs and enough FF to buy the players I don't get to start with.
Right now my favorite is:
2 Flesh Golems (240k)
1 Wight (90k)
1 Ghoul (70k)
1 Werewolf (120k)
6 Zombies (180k)
3 Re-Rolls (210k)
9 Fan Factor (90k)
Next line-up I try I'll probably exchange the ghoul for another wight, since they are more durable... I don't know.
Edit: Why do I pick 2 golems and only 1 wolf? Well, most people always pick the wolf over the golem. Personly I find that I can't protect two wolves with frenzy and no block satisfactorly. Besides, the golems take ages to skill up, so they need to start early whereas the wolves tend to hog down all the SPP in the team.

My Necro-team started with the 3RR 3FF variant and It did very well. I had 1 Golem and 2 Wolves. But today I'd start with 2 Golems and only 1 Wolf. Same reasons matthiash said. Plus, you need either 2 Golems or none. One golem alone is not really anything special, but with 2 golems you control the sidelines.
You don't really need a lot FF in LRB 4.0 and your FF will increase plenty. I started with FF3 and after 11 games I have FF9. Necros are good enough to win their first games which helps with the FF.
So I'd go with:
240 2 Golems
120 1 Wolf
180 2 Wights
070 1 Ghoul
150 5 Zombies
210 3 RR
030 3 FF
