AAAArrrrrgggggghhhhhh!!!! Please help a poor technophobe!

Hey there dudes, new to this whole set-up. trying to set up Java 'n' javaBbowl but keep getting assorted messages of:

- command line applications (list of indecipherable things!)
- original splash image corrupted, missing or changed

tried reinstalling/rebooting numerous times, nothing seems to work. anyone know whats wrong/point me to someone who can help. desp want to play blood bowl (know all the rules 'n' stuff from board version) but keep falling at the first hurdle. Damn this steeple chase set-up proceedure.

I'm in exactly the same boat as you mate!

There are a few people here who can help so hopefully, they can guide us both through the strange and bizarre world of "making a computer work correctly"

also, after i left this post, i found another section of this site dedicated to online bb, so i left a post there aswell. might check there too, just incase
