different blood bowl/deathzone versions

hi, it's me again from germany....

just one more question:
i bought the blood bowl and deathzone box from 1996. Games Workshop produced a new blood box set with all deathzone rules and cards inclusive. But I've heard they changed the rules a bit and compressed all the cards and bonus items form the deathzonebox on one big chard.

so if it's true i have to buy the old deathzonebox and blood bowl set if i wanna play with the old rules and with all the bonuscards???!!!
