Casualty SPP Question

Probably been asked before, but:
Player A blocks player B and both are knocked down. Player B is seriously injured and player A is only knocked prone or stunned. Does Player A still get points for causing a serious injury?

Yes,
and if both A and B were injured they would both get CAS SPPs.
