Can you use a team reroll to reroll Loner negatrait (LRB5) ?

Playing in a game last night vs Levinas and we wondered if the fact that a player with Loner ability can use a team reroll (on a 4+) means that they can have the chance to reroll their 'smart' roll e.g. my ratogre wants to blitz and rolls a 1, can he try and use a reroll to have another go? After looking at LRB 5.0, we couldn't find anything that says he couldn't.
