Dutch Open pics

Ramsey and family, twins not too co-operative but was able to get a pic of them later.

Image
Image
My first opponant Lord Wriggly and his 'fling team which won the best painted contest.
I won 2-1 and 7-0 in CAS (no surprise there)

Image
Some of the first round action.

Image
Draw for round 2 showing me and Dwarfcoach on table one
Strangely they had him down as playing orcs but he was playing welfs.

Image
Image
Dwarfcoach playing wood elves (hmmm, doesn't live up to his nickname very well does he :P )
Came back from a 2 nil deficit to win 3-2 (almost got another TD on the last turn of the game but failed a GFI to get into the EZ, what else is new  ) 3-0 in CAS

Image
Image
Still on table 1, my intense opponant Miloquazar played Dark Elves and won 3-0 as I couldn't get enough CAS on him (tied 1-1 in CAS).

Image
The end of the first day had me and Draco hanging out with some of the English squad.

Image
Image
Facing Venamous Breath on Sunday morning playing Skaven. Lost 4-1 but beat him 5-1 in CAS

Some of the teams competing for the best painted award

Last opponant was a French coach with the nick Wolf playing Dark Elves. It wound up being a 2-2 draw as I don't believe in stalling (which I could've done and left him with one turn to score, but I didn't. He was able to score with two turns left and 3 men on the pitch tying the game). I don't care about standings too much, more about having fun and this last game was quite exciting. Won the CAS battle 6-1

The final game on table one

Image
Gorbad gets the most TDs award
Image
I pick up the most CAS award (Sputnik and I were tied with 22 CAS each but I got it on the tie breaker, having less CAS against)

Image
As mentioned, Lord Wriggly and his halflings win the best painted award
Image
Miloquazar picks up the Dutch Champion award

French coach named David picked up the overall championship and gets the new NAF award for tourney winners (painted by Dave)

Sorry about that, it sounded like you said, "Lord Diggly" when I asked what your nickname was.
I'll change it (and BTW, great looking team, certainly deserved best painted).

Just thought I'd mention this, when I showed the pics from my vacation to members of my family and got to the pic of miloquaser playing Dark Elves, the comment was, "He looks like a Dark Elf!" :P :D
Well, no pointy ears, but he does look vey intense (I guess you got to be intense to pick up the Dutch Champion award).

Also had only 3 hours of sleep, because that night we had to play our league semi-final. But the Dark Elves seem to be back in tournament play.

In the first pic, has Norse had a shave, and who's that holding his shoulders?

*Sigh* One day - now I have a job where I could probably afford it, but not the weekends off. :(
