LRB5 Chainsaw

Post by pyttroll »

Hi all,

I played a human team with Helmut Wulf last night and I have a question about the chainsaw his carrying. I remember that while I was playing a goblin team on fumbbl I had to spend one round to start the chainsaw. I have search though the LRB5 rulebook but I can't find anything about starting a chainsaw.

Do I have to start the chainsaw or is it considered already started when the player carrying it enters the pitch in LRB5?

Thanks,

Pyt

It's always running.

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

You only have to roll to hit now :-) (anything but a 1 hits the opponent on a 1 the chainsaw kicks back and hits the carrier) With LRB 4 you had to make an unmodified AG roll to start the chainsaw (which resulted in my Orc team completely failing to get the damn thing started for the entire first half against a halfling team... we thought it'd fit with the fluff if the halflings had sabotaged it by sneakily borrowing it to cut up their pre match snack of super sticky honey buns and clotted cream cake!!)
