Snow Covered Bases

Post by johnnyb79 »

Hello to everyone here!!

Just a quick question does anyone know how to make snow covered BB bases that actually look any good?? I'm almost finished with my norse team for the blood bowl tourney but just cant seem to get the bases right and dont fancy using normal flock/scatter (although will resort to this if i cant get the snow ones right.

Any response would be great.

I used the GW snow. If you do the base as its mud (Light or mid brown) then just do a few small patches of snow do not do the whole base or it will look too much. With just a few patches i find it looks great. :D

Google is your friend.

Most of the best guides seem to involve making a 'toothpaste' of baking soda and PVA glue, smearing that on, then dusting it over with more baking soda.
