so i'm playing a chaos team, in a perpetual league...

and my old Mino rolled really bad for skill ups, in fact most of my team, has had VERY few doubles... and NO stat boosts....

so i fired, and rehired a Mino, cause i love having a mino on the team... cause it's named after my cat. so his first new skill, due to 3 cas' and an MVP in his first game, rolled snake eyes, thus BLOCK.... and i'm super excited.

then today, we had a big blood bowl day, and i'm fighting a dwarf player, who's getting a TON of inducements... and takes a merc deathroller, and Flint Churn blade.

so the Mino, takes pleasure, in casultying Flint... sending him off... no apo for him... then the deathroller comes on... and i'm recieving, and a blitz on the roller, 1 die block, and Double down!!!!! thank you block!!! rolls a 10 for armor break..... with mighty blow cracks the deathroller!!!

that's great!!!! then Boxcars!!! takes the deathroller out!!!!

and in doing so won the MVP for the match... took out the 2 scary players on his team.

so skill up.... Box cars!!!!

Str 6 Mino... Str 7 on the blitz....

downside.... he's really expensive now... and my TR is 1860...

but the league immediately put a 10k bounty from all players on his head. to go with my gross chaos warrior... who's got a 20k bounty on his head.....

this really goes well, considering the first match of the day.... the first 4 blocks ended in "Dead" - "Dead" - "KO" - "Dead - apo - Dead" First dead, was a ninja catcher... second dead was naked lineman... and the last dead was the infamous Str 4 catcher... Move 8 on a Str 4 guy is scary... but it's gone now.... *whew*

That's awesome dude.

I love the idea that all players are placing bounties for kills on your team.

Now that is what Blood Bowl is about. Character. I love it!

all of the chaos warriors on my team, are former villains from our WFRP campaigns.

2 of which were my former characters, whome after a couple failed will power rolls, ended up serving the ruinous powers.

and the two of them are my two star warriors, one with "block - claws -mighty blow - tackle and foul appearance" we have alot of dodgers in our league. and he has killed Morg n' thorg on a 2 against block

hasn't shown up since... but hey, i guess he doesn't have to. he has the 20k from everyone on his head.

the other is just block - claws and mighty blow but he's managed 17 casulties, all on non-stunties, the other guy has 24 casulties, mostly snotlings... so... which one is the better with dice?

first guy was my favorite char from WFRP, Norfin, he was the most unlucky elf you could ever imagine, then got posessed by a big fat demon of nurgle... was convinced by his insanity to take the seat on a throne of power, and proceeded to destroyed the party.... :'(

Larandar, the other one, was another elven sorcerer, who was overcome with greed, and started serving slaanesh, and through the course of the adventure ended up turning into a big winged Demon... so his first doubles roll is "leap" or "wings" as it will be written down.

then there is my star beastman... with 79 star player points, and "block - Dodge - Two Heads - Extra arms - Strip ball" called The Changer of Plays, painted like a Tzaangor. and has shown up to the game many many times.

anyhoo, it's almost midnight, and i'm off to bed

<--- had his ST4 catcher killed on the fourth turn after two dead and a KO on the first turn. And yes, I conceded the match at that point. Sometimes, Nuffle makes it pretty clear that you shouldn't be playing...

So help me, if you fire-and-hire Norfin and/or Cactus for TV reasons and nobody gets those bounties, I am hiring Helmut Wulf out of petty cash every frickin' game and helping you lower the TV even further by buzzsawing it back to a respectable level.

(Not that I'm bitter about the loss of two awesome catchers, mind you...)

no worries, they won't be fired for TV reasons... i've got enough in the treasury to take care of spiralling expenses for a long time.... so it's all good

but i'm looking forward to the rematch, so you can bring helmut so i can take him out too... cactus loves eating Chainsaws... and deathrollers apparently

Str 7 on the blitz.....

Did I mention that after the Spike!, I hope to have Kurt and Goran (Catcher #3, defensive specialist) with Dirty Player? You'd best hope Volkhard doesn't get Wrestle by then... I'll be fouling you like it's going out of style. By my math, ST7 blitzes don't count for squat when you're AV8, lying on your back and about to be booted in the junk.

Also, I'm considering re-assigning Helmut's duties. Sure, it's fun to chase down Norfin and Larandar (da Leaper) with a buzzsaw, but I may have to start treating you like a Lizardman team and carve up the beastmen first. Let's see how well you run the ball when Handy Jr., Changer of Plays and Tiny are a chunky red paste on the line of scrimmage!

(...Huggles can stay, though. He's Huggles, for goodness sake! "GIZ US A HUUUUUG!")

Norfin may end up retireing as a star player soon, cause he hasn't done anything in forever and a day... i mean... his last task was "push that dwarf so that you can lend a valuable assist..... what do you mean you didn't push a naked blocker?????" to quote megatron...

Course, after the failed push, the block fell squarely on Cactus's shoulders... and boy did he do his job...

anyhoo... Larandar is getting up there pretty good.... so maybe he'll be the new norfin? seeing as his 16 cas' aren't stunties

as for changer of plays, and Handy... (Handy Jr. is the other league with the leaping Larandar) when are changer of plays and Handy ever on the LoS??? but unfortunatly, tiny does end up on the LoS more often than not, cause he's one of the beastmen that actually can go on the LoS... unless i'm recieving, then the power houses go up front
