Hi folks. I think I might have been robbed here by a certain unsporting individual. I won't name who it is (Ironjaw) but I would like to have the issue cleared up.
I always assumed that you could only use a bribe to overturn a sending off of a secret weapon at the end of the drive that he was on. This would tie in with the fact that you have to immediately use a bribe to keep a fouler who rolled a double on the pitch.
However Ironjaw used his bribes to bring back secret weapons that had already been sent off. I think he's a dirty rotten cheat but this may be wrong.
In addition, how does secret weapon work with being knocked out? Do you get sent off at the end of the drive that you fail to recover? How does it work with bribes?

As far as I recall, the bribe has to be used at the end of the drive in which the weapon is Sent Off, so you can't use it to avoid having to set up a SW for a one-turn drive.
Same for KOs, you roll for the bribe as soon as the drive ends, even if they're KO'd, then you roll to see if they recover from the KO itself. If they spent the whole drive KO'd (i.e. they couldn't have been set-up) then there's no sending off, as the player never made the field, so you don't need to use a bribe.

Once again Mo's Marauders clear the field. Can anyone stop them? This reporter doesn't think so!
