When people talk about tiers and what teams go on what tiers, what are they talking about?
What are the 1st 2nd 3rd tier teams?
Tiers?

All the current teams have been designed (or have drifted since their design) into win rate brackets in a perpetual league.
IIRC these are
Tier 1: 55-45%
Tier 2: 45-35%
Tier 3: around 35%
Most teams are in Tier 1 but some are in lower tiers (currently Vampires, Ogres, Halfings, Goblins).

A couple of the more challenging teams, Chaos and my beloved Necros (others?) are considered Tier 1.5.... Not properly competitive (but could be with the right coaches) with the stench of Wood Elves and Dwarves... but respectable....

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.
