Dirty Player
Hi,
I have a question regarding how Dirty Player work, especially, how it works regarding doubles for being sent off.
ie: If i roll 5+5 before Dirty Player, can i use Dirty Player to stay on the pitch or it's still a double ?
As i understand this rule i can't (since i rolled double), but maybe i'm wrong...

Re: Dirty Player
Correct. You can use Dirty Player to add +1 to the total, but that doesn't change the fact that you've rolled a double.

Re: Dirty Player
dirty player has no effect with regards to getting sent off or not, roll a double and you are off regardless of it you use dirty player or not

Re: Dirty Player
are you maybe thinking of sneaky git? there if the double is rolled and armour is cracked, then you are sent off.

TOs! You do not need multiple copies of rosters. It's a waste of paper.

Re: Dirty Player
For getting sent off the final result doesn't matter - its what the dice show that determines if you are sent off or not.
However with DP/SG you could roll 4,4 (needing an 9 to break armour) and choose not to use DP, not break armour and hence stay on the pitch.

from the book
"
."If the score beats the victim’s Armour value then he is injured and a roll is made on the Injury table to see what has happened to him
if you roll 4/4 and need 8 to break armor, it is broken (without having to use DP)
I think you were trying to say:
The victim has an armor of 8 so you need a 9 to break it
You have DP and SG
you roll 4/4 = 8 the roll did not break armor so SG applies to not getting sent off
IF you choose to use DP to break the armor, he will be sent off
