GW BB tournament 2010. Query before signing up.

Post by Isiha »

Guys, I'm going to sign up for this tourny (if there is still space). But before I do I need to know if there would be any issues with using a team of miniatures that are not from the GW model range?
I just thought of the question, and as the phone line is not open to ask directly, I thought I would post the query here.
Does anyone know. I dont want to fork out the notes and have to play with my second string Orc team, I want to play with my badass Orc team.
Thanks in anticipation of responses

The Southfarthing Pie Baker's. Not only are they great cooks, but also not a bad blood bowl team. Halfling Team's are the way forward.

As far as I remember your team must comprise of 80% Citadel Miniatures.

All models must be either GW figures or scratch-built figures or a combo of the two - no non-GW parts. If you're seen with players from non-GW ranges, you will be asked to remove them and supply GW alternatives.

Conversions or Scratch-built models that are considered to be unsuitable
by the Referees will be removed from play.
And yes, they are strict on this - I had to step in a couple of years ago when the ref thought a model was a non-GW fig (was actually one of the Chaos Cup figures).

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.
