2011 West Coast Quake

Congrats to Rich Kilton and Da Wildbones for winning the 2011 West Coast Quake with a record of 4 wins and 2 draws!! Rich won his final match by refusing to play for the draw and kicking to wood elves with only 4 turns remaining. His defense was able to get the ball and sprint down most of the pitch, with 4 go for its, a handoff, and NO rerolls, on the last turn to win the match and the championship!!

This was a great tournament with high caliber play throughout the field. In fact the top three coaches were all undefeated and all played each other to draws!!

Thank you to all of the coaches who traveled out for our event and made it such a fun and exciting tournament!! Thanks to Dennis (daloonieshaman) and Mike (Lahatiel) for running the event!!!

Stay tuned and keep your ear to the ground for the rumblings of an Aftershock Tournament to be scheduled sometime around June...

And of course...start saving for 2012 as the West Coast Quake invades sin city and heads to Las Vegas!!!
