Casulties

Post by Munkey »

During the post match sequence are players that have been Badly Hurt, Seriously Injured or Killed but subsequently saved by an apothecary counted as casulties caused.

For example if I caused two casulties in a game but one was saved by the apothecary do I get the +1 modifier to the fan factor table?

I've always just counted the number of models in the dug-out at the end of the game until now.

The short answer is "no", but it is a qualified "no" because there are odd ways of interpreting the question which could justify the answer "yes".

No, it's the total number of casualties your team inflicted (including those saved by the apothecary).

On the other hand, it doesn't include those who suffered a casualty through failed dodges, go-for-its, injuries from the crowd, etc. (At least I think that's right!)

Cheers,
Martyn

Same as if your opponent regens a critter on the undead team....

All block-caused casualties count for SPP....

the player doing the foul would get the spp for a foul if you are so mad to give spp for fouls

that depends upon your own house rules. We accept spp's for casualties caused by fouls and also pushes into the crowds.

Chet does too in his local league!

We've always thought of the FF roll as resulting in your team's popularity with the fans. Because of this, any casualties caused in any way would positively effect the fans' perception of the game. So we count all casualties toward the FF roll. It's also easier to explain..."eventhough I won, some of my fans left me because I didn't kill that damn Rat Ogre!"

We also allow SPP's for fouls, and if a push out of bounds was also a knockdown we roll armour to see if the injury was from the hit (SPP's awarded) or the crowd (No SPP's awarded). Though we recognize this as a house rule. :P
