Modelling my Lizardmen Team

Post by DaFrenchCoach »

Hi there,

I started a league with a lizzies team (because I was thinking about playing them at the Blood Bowl Tournament... ah, too bad    ). I would need your advices about my team developpment (1W, 1T).

I have a skink with side step (really common for a skink), and I have another one which has rolled a double... What woudl you consider as a top choice? I was thinking about pass, but stunty makes it really silly. Maybe soemthing like sure hands... Or a strengh skill... Or maybe something surprising, which makes this skink a really dirty player...

Well, I always have problems when rolling a double, so any help would be highly appreciated.

Hum, I was also thinking about Hail Mary Pass, before taking for some other skinks diving catch... It should be a very useful combo for lizardmen, what do you think about ?

How are you playing the team? A Skink with Blodge would be hard to take down in a cage or would make the perfect brute skink. But then again Kick would give you more control of where the ball was going.

But I would take Sure Hands before I'd take Hail Mary. No SPP in Hail Mary passes.

Hum, I have to think about Block... Dark Elves BLitzers were really a pain in the a*** during the last game...

Currently, we don't use kicking rules ;)

EDIT: Accurate should be useful... It would remove the stunty malus... I really don't know what I should take... any ideas ?

I would go for sure hands. This saves you a rr on offense. I don't know how often I fumbled the ball so far. Maybe more than I scored...

You also could go for block (alwasy nice) or guard (which I like more).

With stunty you could also dodge to where guard is needed, and with side step he is hard to get rid of. Also nice to break a cage. But be ensured they WILL try to get him off the field if they can... :o

If you want something 'out of the ordinary' take kick, since you have the speed to use this in your favor...

BLOCK!!
unless you have other skinks with Blodge. Remember that skinks aren't only ball carriers, sometimes they have to blitz, and block also will help to keep alive this little bas*ard. I had a Blodge/sidestep skink that lived for one complete league and was hated/feared by all.

Block! If you get another double then consider Strip Ball. On a normal roll either Diving Tackle or Side Step.

thanks a lot guy. I finally took Block... a really god combo. I'm not like Marcus or some probabilities addicts, but I figure it's a good combo...

I think about a skink having Stunty, Dodge, Block and Side Step... Will be the next step, and IMO a real nightmare...

One more time, thanks a lot!

Stand firm or frenzy

For me Saurus should have:
Block
B. Tackle

apart of this essentials, rest is wellcome.

Your Saurus need BLOCK first. Doubles or not, give him BLOCK.
