Nurgle rules - Mag 5

Post by cidervampire »

The lineup on page 6 shows you can have 6 rotters, the text on page 7 about infecting people says you can only have 4. The photo on the inside cover shows a total of 5 warriors/rotters. The designer notes say that the lsit is based on the normal Chaos list (ie 4 warrior). Which is correct?
I would guess 4.

As far as I can tell, you are only allowed 1 big guy on each team normally. The beast of nurgle is a big guy but the text says that "most Nurgle teams include at least one", so how many can you have? I would guess 2.

Wotcha CV,

Hope your hols went well.

It has to mean 4 Rotters if based on the standard chaos team. And yes, I spotted the big guy typo too but I would say that if its meant to be chaos based, then you'd have a maximum of one.

A further typo/error has to be the omittance of skills for the beast. I'd hazard a guess at Strength and General obviously.

I just called my local store and they say BB mag 5 isn't due for release until early January. Where is it available then ?

If you've subscribed early enough then you should be getting or have gotten it already. I've had mine almost two weeks now. Oh and I've been told by GW that the Nurgles is only BASED on Chaos but the intent is to have 6 of the nasty buggers! Remember its only experimental though but at least GW does have figures available for them.

Subscribed ages ago...around the time mag 4 came out I think. That should mean I get mag 5. ASSUMING I am anyway.
I'll drop them a mail if I haven't had it within a week.

My subscription started #4, but their system is mucked up and it says it starts #6. Got an order number for #5 for either when it gets to the MO system or if a local shop has it

Sometimes it's hard to believe their a multi-national company. And then I saw a city analyst saying people should invest in GW as it's a well run company - wonder if he's ever actually ordered anything from MO

Actually, the intent is NOT to have 6 Rotters, only 4. This was a typo in the printed version which will be fixed in the Annual. The only reason Fanatic has not yet made mention of it, I believe, is because of the holiday season and vacation schedules.

The Beast is a Big Guy, and only the Goblins and Halflings can have more than one Big Guy on their team.
