Dungeon Bowl Rosters

I just took a look at the DB rosters and the rule state, that players from races can be chosen. The main race 0-16, the other race 0-6, tha last race 0-2. Positionwise it can be 2 throwers, 2 blitzers, 4 blockers and 4 receivers alltogether and/or 2 racespecific positions (wardancers, bullcentaurs for example).

My question is, when the race is mentioned, does this include their specific Big Guys as racespecific position? Or as what does it count? I am truly confused about this, since most DB rosters point out "Trolls", "Minotaurs" and "Ogres". Speaking of, are ogres meant as Big Guys or as complete teamrosters. Would it be possible to choose snotling if so?

Those are very good questions, ones that GW and Cyanide had great difficulty in answering when they made their version of DB..

It seems like one of the DungeonBowl tournaments must have modern rules, but I've been unable to locate any.

You might want to look into the Colleges of Magic rules here, the races and stuff are decently paired with/against each other.
