Norse presents.... Got Wood?

Post by Norse »

yeah, you wait all year for a Norse paint job and then three come along at once...

tried to make it look like there was a natural glow coming from inside him.. not sure if it worked or not..

this mini is drybrush heaven.. probably a 60 minute paint job this..

next step will be top make a rooted sign for him.. I'm thinking a huge moss afro.. :D

Love this mini, it's massive and looks like it means business (as it should).
Really nice brushwork, congrats.
Also, I like how you did the glow on the eyes.
(Some of the best looking examples of those glow/light techniques that I've seen out there, tend to go overkill in the amount of "light/glow" they paint both in the light source - in this case the eyes-, and on the reflecting surface. By this I mean you could still add some more "light" if you wanted, but it already looks quite nice as it is).

I've got mine on a 30 mm base and judging by the feet, I'd say that norse has his on a 40 mm base
