Hi

First of all, the alternate kick-off table is horrendous. We used that table in one league and I advice against using it. It's utter crap. The results are way too powerful and not very well thought out.

The cheerleader and assistant coach rules seemed quite nice. If they can be used only once pre half they should be quite balanced and did look quite interesting. One of the best suggestions I've seen for them so far. There's only one thing I'd change: the cheerleader reroll should NOT be allowed to be used to reroll an opponents dice roll. That is a definite no-no. It's sufficient if you could use it as an ordinary TRR, and to make it more useful you could say that also Big Guys can use it.

BTW.You should post the rules here as plain text - I'm sure that more people will comment on them that way.

HI

The new kick-off table is kinda wild sometimes, its just our best solution to not using that BORING one in the rulebook.
And i have decided to edit it a little, and maybe make it a D88 instead of D66, just to have more different choises.

The new cheerleader and ass.coach rules can only be used once a game, maybe that particulary cheerleader result should be changed in the future. Try it in your league.
And yes it is the best rules for these "guy" ie. the cheer's and A.coach's.
if you only got 5 of each its rather imposible to roll 3 times 6.
In our league we like these rules VERY much, and generaly no one has pumped up on either cheer's are coaches, its simple not worth it, in Team Rating.

Keep Playing!

And in this new kick off table there is not any..

There is not Blitz and Pitch invasion.
So if the anyone think this new kick off table is to wild, remember that Pitch invasion can inflict 6 cas, in the first kick off. costing a victory and maybe a team...

I think I'm with Mestari on this one. The coaching/cheerleaders are okay, but I'm not too fond of the kick off results.

I'd change it so coaching gave a skill for a drive and could only be used before the players are set up by either team & cheerleaders be used at the end of your turn/beginning of opponents.

The kick-off rules I don't like. IMO the majority of KO results ought to have little effect on the game and IIRC there was a long thread about reworking the KO table which had better solutions.

Kick off's are meant to not have a great effect on the game

BUT are meant to make a random event in my opinion, and the few there are in the original one are to boring and some of them crazy, Blitz are not just a flavor, its a game breaker! and pitch invasion can totalty kill a team for good....

So we use this new one, not becouse its better in quallity, but its more random AND BLitz and Pitch invasion are not on it.

And "What the heck" isn't a game breaker? Kicker keeps the ball, woohoo. That's a lot worse result balancewise than Blitz.
